Rochelle and Sam travelled from Australia to get married on top of Cecil Peak on a stormy day. They got ready at a historic cottage in Arrowtown and then flew up to Cecil Peak to exchange vows but it was so windy we decided to just get some epic photos and then hold their ceremony...
When a couple’s first question is “Can you ski?”, you know their wedding is going to be incredible. Sarah and Jeremy traded the wedding dress and tuxedo in favour of snow suits and skis. They decided they wanted to kickstart their lifetime of adventure together by heli-skiing down the Tasman Glacier in Mount Cook National Park.
Fenella and Billy decided to break tradition and opted for a wedding that represented who they were as a couple. Together they share a passion for hiking and the outdoors and their wedding was no different. They gathered all their loved ones, despite no one having any experience, and set off on their cross country skis to get hitched in the rolling white hills of the Crown Range Mountains outside of Wanaka.
Being avid travellers, Taylor and David wanted to spend their special day exploring all that the Southern Alps of New Zealand have to offer, and the landscape delivered. Including helicopter rides over remote alpine lakes, frolicking atop a snowy glaciers and capping it off with an intimate and emotional sunset ceremony on the golden tussock of Coromandel Peak, their day featured it all.
