Barefoot Wedding in Paradise, New Zealand

A barefoot wedding set in Paradise, what could be better? Anna and Andy are earthy people and they wanted to get married where they could go barefoot to fully connect to the earth while getting married. So they booked Paradise, an incredibly beautiful property tucked in native Beech forest up the Dart Valley. If you’re watched Lord of the Rings, Lothlorien Forest was filmed on the property! The wedding was completely DIY with guest chipping in with the styling, food, and music. It was a completely grass roots atmosphere with an intimate barefoot woodland ceremony and a beautiful reception filled with lovingly crafted DIY decorations and big swing hung from an ancient beech tree! And during their couple shoot we spotted a white tailed deer which made their day even more special. New Zealand’s wilderness does not dissapoint.
